WHO AND WHAT
The training camps are open to anyone interested, including complete beginners, and conclude with a technical proficiency test.
The training camp is intended for anyone interested in more athletic training. It is part of the mandatory preparation for competition teams (team members for the weekend—nominations will be finalized at the September training camp). Also suitable for beginners with athletic ambitions.
Visits by family members are permitted only by prior arrangement. Exams always take place on the last day; participants must arrive for the exam no later than 9:45 a.m. on the second-to-last day. By arrangement, exams may also be held on days other than the last day, provided there is a minimum attendance of 3 full days. A longer stay guarantees more opportunities to take exams and a better chance of passing. You can also participate in both fall events and even have the chance to take double exams. To get a good workout, you can come for just one day, but for successful exams, we recommend the entire camp (especially for children who are on summer break). During these camps, we have scheduled competitions, a seminar with a grandmaster, and contests.
Participants who are over 6 years old and under 24 years old must submit a medical examination report from at least their pediatrician or primary care physician at the start of the camp. For members holding a 4th kup or higher, we recommend a medical examination by a sports physician, which is required for competitive martial arts. You can find the forms on our website. Please email the medical examination results to info@tkd.cz or submit them upon arrival.

NOTICE and WHAT TO BRING
SLEEPING BAG, dobok (not for beginners), paper, pencil, a small amount of pocket money (optional), and standard camp supplies. From the yellow belt onward: green protective gear; from the red-black belt onward: a knife. TKD gear can be purchased on site. Do not bring any other gear (with the exception of current national team members and their national team gear, and Ukrainians with gear they have brought from Ukraine). Clothing and shoes for both outdoor and indoor training sessions. Swimwear. We recommend bringing a pillow.
- No valuables allowed; no electronic devices except for cell phone chargers, which we do not recommend for children under 13
- Everyone must carry a parent’s phone number and their health insurance card
- For preschool-aged children or less independent children in grades 1–2, we recommend participation in the presence of an older family member. We consider the ability to manage class time, maintain personal hygiene, and distinguish between right and left to be fundamental. The ability to communicate independently with the teacher is essential, and parental support in this regard is required. In the event of a serious breach of discipline, anyone may be expelled from this event without refund. The same applies to leaving the event of one’s own accord.
Children will have access to drinks and a fully operational kitchen throughout the event, which they can visit at any time. We do not recommend bringing additional food, with the exception of a plastic water bottle. Shopping bags full of chips, candy, and energy drinks will be sent back home with the parents. Minors are not permitted to leave the premises; older students may do so only with the teacher’s permission.
We ask all members (and preferably parents of preschoolers as well) to set aside at least a few days to review the material and take the exams. This applies especially to members who did not participate in the summer events.
By registering for the camp, participants agree to abide by the rules for staying at the camp.
